CPR/HeartSaver® - Adult/Child/Infant CPR - Olathe Campus

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

The American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR AED course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a CPR certification for job requirements or who simply wants to be prepared to help in an emergency. This course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, provide high‑quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, and use an AED effectively.
Heartsaver courses are ideal for:

• Workplace responders
• Teachers and school staff
• Coaches
• Childcare providers
• Personal trainers
• Safety & security personnel
• Community members who require a certification card

This instructor‑led, hands‑on training ensures participants gain confidence and competence in performing CPR and using an AED.

COST: $75

Additional Class Information

• A skills check is required to receive an official AHA Heartsaver® CPR AED certification card.
• Certification is valid for 2 years.
• Please do not bring children/infants to class unless they are registered participants.
• Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for CPR practice on the floor.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fee charged for such a course except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials do not represent income to the Association.
