Kansas City In Person Childbirth Classes

Class includes the changes of late pregnancy, process of labor and birth, relaxation and breathing techniques, comfort measures for labor, variations that might occur during labor and birth, the use of analgesia and anesthesia and postpartum and newborn care. Class will be held at the Wyandotte Room in Bell Hospital Cafeteria.  Class will be held from 8 am until 4 pm. We will take a 1-hour lunch break mid-day. You may bring your lunch, or you may choose to dine at a nearby restaurant or in the cafeteria. After completion of the class, a unit tour will be provided. 

Please park in the Cambridge (P3) parking garage. You will need to grab a parking ticket. Please bring with you to be validated. Once validated, parking will be $3.00. Enter through the front doors of Bell Hospital. To the left of the front desk, you will find signs for the cafeteria. Walk past the 6 pack of elevators and the cafeteria will be on your left. The classroom is next to the checkout lines. This registration includes your support person. No additional registration is needed. 

The room may vary in temperature, so you may wish to bring a sweater or jacket as needed. You may also wish to bring a blanket and pillows to use when practicing breathing and relaxation on the floor as time allows.
